On October 5th the Catholic Church celebrated St. Faustina Kowalska. The "Chaplet of Divine Mercy" that was given to her is a wonderful devotion that I often pray with my kids.
Using a Rosary start with the Our Father, Hail Mary & Apostles Creed.
On the single bead before each decade: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
On the ten beads of each decade: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Conclude by repeating three times: Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
If you watch EWTN at all you've probably seen the contemporary "worship" version that appears every Saturday at 3pm EST.
You can watch a version of it on GodTube
